Pillars of Influence - Politics, Corporations and Media

 

Politicians as well as Businesses and the News are masters at a handful of things.

They are great at making money for themselves and at crafting and using pragmatic lies.

They are masters at saying what people want to hear.

They're experts in untruths and they propagate narratives because they believe the lie will yield a more "practical" or "stable" result than the literal truth. Besides, there is a saying that the people cannot handle the truth.

Pants On Fire

Lying is the politician's, corporation's and news media's art, it's their craft. It does not matter what party, what industry, what News outlet.

They lie to manage public behavior, avoid "friction" or align with their target audience's existing beliefs and biases, maintain social order, the status quo and their continued success.

Politicians, Businesses and the News Media do not have our backs, never has. Yet, people still fall for their lies, their narratives,  their campaign promises and vote the same people and their Propositions every time there are elections.

There is no cure for that.

Here's an Immigration Suggestion That Will Get Both Sides Sitting Down & Talking, Instead of Protesting & Fighting Each Other

So because cities and local law enforcement do not want to cooperate with ICE and protestors want ICE enforcement operations against people in their communities out of their cities, then why not instead of deporting illegal immigrants why not we all sit down and agree to do something like this instead.

Appeal to ICE to do this:

Amnesty Program

Offer an Amnesty Program for undocumented immigrants who have no criminal records to be given the opportunity to have freedom to stay in the U.S. for a specific amount of time and work towards having legal status in exchange for this.

Safe From Arrest

This will be afforded individuals in exchange for reporting businesses knowingly hiring undocumented individuals by providing information and evidence of fraud and illegal business practices such as being paid below minimum wages, not receiving appropriate working conditions, or being underpaid and not being given legal compensation or benefits for hours worked.

Going After Scrupulous Businesses Instead

Businesses who will be cited will be charged with hefty fines and will provide people they have took advantage of with back pay. These fines will be also used to pay for rewards for whistle-blowers.

Path To Legal Status 

Should be win-win. 

ICE operations will then be limited to serving warrants on businesses taking advantage of hard working undocumented individuals and also giving them the chance to be free from fear of apprehension and a path to having legal status.

Arrest of Undocumented Indivduals with Criminal Records

The same Program should also offer amnesty or whistle-blower rewards for information leading to the arrest of hardened criminals in their communities who have warrants of arrests for heinous crimes.

Biased News

The news has again been biased on the unfortunate death of Renee Nicole Good. Die-hard Democrats are biased. Die-hard Republicans are biased. The elected officials of Minnesota and Minneapolis are biased. The White House and Federal Agencies as biased. But what else is new?

If we keep on just feeding off of the news networks we are watching, if we just keep on listening to one political party, if we keep on hanging out with the same people, our own little clique then we will be complicity biased as well.

1st - Elected officials of Minnesota and many other states have been issuing public calls for residents to join "observer networks" in the days leading up to the shooting of Renee. What are this observer networks? These are funded civilian resistance networks and "legal observer" groups formed in various cities. Their goals among other things are to document federal immigration actions. But they do more than that as we have seen in the news. Some of them have been actively joining protesters, they have been joining in direct actions designed to prevent Federal enforcement activities.
These networks are often coordinated by local community organizers and elected officials.

2nd - Renee Nicole Good possibly committed a federal crime by using her vehicle to impede federal agents from performing their duties.

3rd - There were also allegations that she has been following (stalking) federal agents that day of her shooting.

4th - The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee had previously been assaulted by a person driving a vehicle. In June 2025, he was rammed by a car and dragged by an "anti-ICE rioter," resulting in bodily injuries.

5th - The news media is showing Renee as a homebody, a stay-at-home mom, a mother of three, devoted to her family and have not joined in any protest actions. She had just dropped off her 6-year-old son at school and was in her car with her current partner (no that last part has largely not been reported).

6th - Minnesota elected officials are calling people to protest in their state and in other states to do the same.

Last - This unfortunate incident has taken the spotlight off the reported widespread fraud in Minnesota state programs and cases against Nicolas Maduro.

ICE Raids

There is always two sides to a story. Guess what, we will only see and look at one side, the side we believe in.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

There is an "untold" story behind the Immigration Raids.

Politicians and Officials of Sanctuary cities and their states will not disclose this.

But here it is.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO)

The mission of ICE and ERO is to protect the homeland through the identification, arrest and removal of those who undermine the safety of our communities, our national security and the integrity of U.S. immigration laws.

That is their job.

ERO uses law enforcement and intelligence-driven leads to identify aliens who may present a threat to national security or public safety, or otherwise undermine the integrity of U.S. immigration laws. ICE officers conduct targeted enforcement actions after thorough investigations.

Governor Newsom & Mayor Bass

The Mayor of Los Angeles and the Governor of California are blaming ICE and Trump for the civil unrest in the city.

This may be true but the untold reality is this.

ICE 287(g) Program allows ICE — through the delegation of specified immigration officer duties — to enhance collaboration with state and local law enforcement partners to protect the homeland through the arrest and removal of aliens who undermine the safety of our nation’s communities and the integrity of U.S. immigration laws.

But Sanctuary city officials, local law enforcement and their State officials are not cooperating and will not cooperate with ICE.

ICE has identified people for removal inside jails and other places but no one in the Sanctuary cities (such as LA) have been cooperating. These people who would have been safely taken into custody the "normal" way but no one in the Sanctuary cities and states were cooperating.

So what did ICE do to do their jobs? Yes we saw that in the news. They had to go into neighborhoods, homes, businesses and other places that were available for them to go to.

Result

The people of Los Angeles fought back, they blocked, they formed barricades and many other things to prevent ICE officers from doing their jobs.

Why? Because their elected officials have empowered them to -- not to cooperate with ICE.

They went to the streets, they vandalized property. And people with criminal minds broke into businesses, looted stores and committed other crimes.

Chaos

LAPD Chief said on TV that things went out of control. It did.

Granted, a couple of days later he changed his tune. Why? He forgot he had to keep singing the same chorus as the Mayor and the Governor.

He had to. What happened to the LA Fire Chief is really still fresh in everyone's eyes.

The news is one of the most biased industries anywhere. And people have jumped in on the bandwagon they are leading.

Most if not all mainstream media are leaning left. And of course, all alternative media are far right.

And thus many people are either extreme left or extreme right.

Many people in the middle vote for the lesser evil (yes both parties are evil). And these level headed people hardly talk about or mention people they voted. For them it's just a duty they have to do. Sigh. 

We Don't Think About It

The crazy thing is that some people who didn't vote for say Joe Biden or Kamala Harris hardly follow what these people do or talk about them in the course of their daily life. This goes with many of those who voted for Trump.

While those who didn't vote for Trump hound him day in and day out, and they talk endlessly about him.

Those in the media leading the way.

Did any of these media people or even politicians talk about the Americans who died in Benghazi, such as Ambassador Stevens? Did they talk about the American hostages taken from Israel and still being held hostage by Hamas to this day?

Yet these same people talk about (and politicians even went to) El Salvador, and they are so obsessed with Abrego Garcia. Did they check on the American hostages?

Shall we go on? Or do we see how people jump in on what the news feed them (at least the ones they watch).

Also everyone conveniently forgot about Epstein and P. Diddy. And no one talks about the prices of eggs. 

Again because the media has gone silent on these.

No one ever talks about tariffs or the stock market. Yet right now everyone does. Why? You guessed it. The news and social media talk about these endlessly.

People used to love Teslas and Elon. Now, they want him dead. I wonder why.

People are biased and they are just too blind to see that they are. If you watch the news and depending on what kind, then you may be blind. You probably only see one color, one side.

Saving the Planet Takes a Backseat

2020

Back in the day, pre-madness Elon Musk, people were praising the richest person on earth, and they were lining up to purchase his Teslas.

Why? Because his cars were champions, pioneers in the electric vehicle industry. And also because he was pioneering space exploration and the building of colonies in Mars.

That was then. Then comes 2024, and Trump and the salute, and other questionables.

2025

Today, these same people who used to loved Teslas are now boycotting the brand. And more than that, they are literally vandalizing and burning Tesla vehicles.

Everyday, social media posts are showing indignation, disgust, wrath, against Elon and against Tesla.

Spectrum

Elon publicly disclosed he has been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in 2021. Asperger's is a condition on the autism spectrum.

Having Asperger's, Musk has stated that his social cues were not intuitive for him and that he would often take things very literally. He also has no understanding of the implied meaning behind words or actions.

And people are now hating him for his words and actions.

Everything just turned upside down. That's just how it is, best friends today, enemies tomorrow.

And yes Mars exploration and renewable energy and saving the planet took a step down in our priorities.

We love people who we share our viewpoints with. And we hate those who share something with people we hate.

We love it and we cheer when they suffer loss.

Predisposed

War Is Coming

The world (the not inconsiderate, uncaring and too busy among us anyway) have strong feelings about Israel declaring war on Hamas.

It all boils down to a few main factors, our age group, our gender (or gender identity), our lastname, our political affliation, our faith, our job, our school, our ethnicity, our maturity, and peer pressure. In short it just depends on who we are or who we have become.

This is the same in almost every issue. There is nothing new under the sun.

Israel has gotten the sympathy weighing scale slightly to dip in their favor with the violent attack on Israeli civilians during their religious festival. Hundreds were slaughtered, hundreds were pursued and hunted like prey and hundreds were captured. Rules of war are out the window.

The dead bodies were displayed, paraded and videos of the massacre were shared in social media. It didn't matter what age or what condition, innocent people, the elderly, the infirmed, babies and toddlers even. It was barbaric.

It was a sickening display of how humanity has evolved.

They were killing the injured, mutilating the dead bodies and reveling at what was being done.

Shock

Yet the world is still divided. Some rejoiced. Others mourned. Many are scared. The rest unmoved. 

As to be expected, Israeli forces have started their offensive and will try to save their face and the hostages. There are women and children and foreign nationals taken.

Israelis' small sympathy window will start to close, even now the United Nations is cautioning Israel from going on the offensive and in going after those who mercilessly and savagely attacked their people.

Where do we stand on all these?

As we've mentioned it all just depends on our individual situations. Everything is biased, we ourselves are. Yet we do not want to see it.
