The Press Conference Where the Press Did Not Report Anything

Can't see it? Here's the youtube link

10 22 2020

Barely 12 days before the November 3rd Presidential elections, U.S. Veteran and Businessman, Tony Bobulinski held a press conference where he said he has evidence that he will provide the FBI and the DOJ indicating that Presidential Candidate Joe Biden knew about (son) Hunter Biden's and (brother) Jim Biden's business dealings and is a silent partner (silently taking a cut) with his son's and brother's dealings with the Chinese.

News Flash. Nobody is talking about this. Their reason? Your guess is as good as mine.

10 26 2020

Update: Mr. Bobulinski Explaining himself.

Can't see it? Here's the youtube link:

Still no denial, still a media blackout. Still no hard questions as no one is interested in getting the answers.

Pope Endorses Same Sex Civil Unions

It's been all over the news what Pope Francis said in a recent interview: “Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God,” What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered.”

Source

And then people scrolled down to the next "news".

Applause, Criticism and Ho Hum

Of course this announcement was seen and greeted with differing reactions and opinions, depending on who you're asking, biased by their own personal beliefs.

Truth

But regardless of where you stand, this is just one man's opinion out of 7+ billion.

Now to devout Roman Catholics who believe that whatever he says is gospel truth (as if God Himself has said it), then they won't care one way or another. They will merely accept this whether they are for it or against it.

And besides the Catholic Church knows what's going on, more and more people are leaning towards same sex unions, they don't want to be left behind with the times.

Reality

For non Roman Catholics, the majority will be shrugging their shoulders and saying 'who cares'. They most probably do not even know who this man is.

For some of them, they would be asking what happened to the separation of church and state. What the pope is saying is that because most nations do not allow for same sex marriages, the church is advocating to allow for same sex civil unions -- which looks like the church is indeed meddling into state affairs. Groups long advocating for this will be very happy with the endorsement.

Biblical Teaching

But for followers of Christ this will be a hard pill to swallow.

If you are a follower of Christ and believe the bible then you would be torn between what this man is saying (and many of those he has already said in the past) and what you believe in or perceive to be what the bible is teaching.

Although this would either make lapsed Roman Catholics return back into the fold and make others leave the "church", like many before them.

For millions of Roman Catholics though, those who were merely born into the faith or not really practicing or believing their creed, this wouldn't really matter to them. The cares of the world are more important than their default belief system.

The verdict? Same old, same old.

Issues of Race

Neverending Story

The issue about race has been ongoing for generations but so far people from each of the different races have never really seen eye to eye on them or even want to acknowledge that its something they need to come together and talk about.

USA

It is particularly true in the so called "United" States of America which is a funny name as it has never really been united. Superficially yes or when beneficial for all, but beneath the different skin colors, creed, age group and statuses of its diverse citizens, there has never been unity even with its flag and anthem.

Heck, people of the same race, or even those from the same family cannot agree with each other, how much more people of different races?

Race

The latest survey of these United States shows that:

  • Whites comprise 60% of the entire population
  • Hispanics 18%
  • Blacks 13%
  • Asians 6%
  • Native Americans/Pacific Islanders 2%
  • And those with two or more races 2%.

Now depending on which state or city, then these percentages will deviate from this overall demographic, and no two cities, two counties, or two states would have exactly the same demographics and racial issues.

Domination

If we want to get a visual of these numbers then say out of the 50 states, 30 are White, 9 are Hispanic, 6 are Black, 3 are Asian, 1 Native American, and 1 represents the others.

WWWWWWWWWW
WWWWWWWWWW
WWWWWWWWWW
H H H H H H H H H N
B B  B B  B B  A A  A O

These will be generalizations but we are talking about the numbers in general anyway.

So in general and in truth, Whites continue to dominate in numbers and in almost every aspect of American life in every single State.

Minorities

Hispanics form the biggest minority group. Although surveys do not really show their actual numbers, as they have the highest number of undocumented immigrants that would normally not be included in the "official" count.

African Americans, significantly smaller in numbers compared to Hispanics are the second largest minority group. But they are the most vocal in their call for racial equality.

Asians are a far third in the minority list in terms of their numbers. They are the "invisible" minority group and the one group "safely" and conveniently picked on by Hollywood.

Native Americans, Alaskan Native Americans, Hawaiian, Samoans and other Pacific Islanders are just a blip in the radar, except for the tiny places where they are concentrated in.

Others

In terms of creed, Jews, Persians and Arabs also form a small minority and like Native Americans might have limited significance or influence in the places they are located in bigger numbers.

Hierarchy

Whites are the majority and have always been on the top of the food chain since they took ownership of this vast expanse of land. They are like monarchs. And some do act and willed power as such, even up to now.

Hispanics who originally were from beyond the current Southern borders of the union have mostly worked in the industries that no one else wants to work in. They would be "invisible" and insignificant unless for their numbers and the language they speak or do not speak for that matter.

African Americans, as we have already said, are the most active and aggressive in terms of demanding racial equality. Not really hard to see why, after generations of their forefathers being enslaved by White people who some of whom still act like they still own non-Whites and feel like they would be nothing if not for what they have done in this land.

Asians, the one they labeled the model minority. Mostly keeping to themselves, subservient and non-confrontational. Because of this, they are mostly the whipping boys or the butt of jokes and the targets of bullies and so-called racist people of any race.

Native Americans, are probably the lowest ones on the totem pole, both in numbers and significance. The irony being it is their people who carved those poles. And that they were the ones who were living here, before the Whites and the Hispanics moved in, and before the Blacks were shipped in and the Asians shipped themselves in. And like these other minorities, got screwed over.

Painful Past

Each of the different minority groups, even White on White have also been screwed over in different degrees and in different periods of time. The crazy thing about it, minorities also have treated and continue to treat other minorities just as bad as they have been treated.

The more dominant race have culturally misappropriated the other races they feel are beneath them and they call others racists when in fact all of them are.

Can't We All Get Along?

There is a saying, united we stand and divided we fall.

In the USA, it is reversed and there has been in a free fall for generations. Each race blaming another. But hardly looking at themselves or the people within their own.

Will there ever be round table discussions where Americans of different colors and backgrounds be coming together to be honest about themselves and to talk to come up with solutions to their issues?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Biased

And yes, with each one being biased, having their own agenda, wanting to maintain the status quo or just trying to save face, a solution will not come in our lifetime, maybe even never.

White, Black, Brown, Yellow, Red, and the other Colors of the Rainbow are distinct and will always be.

Each have gone through their own painful past and undergoing their own trials. And unless Americans acknowledge this and see each other as all Americans but of different races with the distinct things they have went through, their pains, their mistakes and their hopes and dreams, then all of them getting along will be superficial and will not last long.

Time to Revisit the Killing of Tony Timpa, 2016

The Killing of Tony Timpa

Almost four years ago there was this incident involving a knee to the back of Tony Timpa which was eerily similar to what was done to George Floyd.

Not surprisingly, the charges filed against the officers involved in this case were dropped.

Police Brutality

The other not so surprising fact about this case is that the official story given by the police officers was not at all collaborated by the body cam video of the events that took place. Yes, this was already during the days of  police body cams.

Mind you, the said footage was only released over three years after the incident. It was a minor miracle it was released at all.

Maybe it is time for people to talk about this case of police brutality now and for the news media to take a look at this injustice.

What We Know

On August 10, 2016, Tony Timpa called 911 asking for help. When Dallas Police arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Timpa was being held by the security of a local business and had placed him in handcuffs.

The video of what happened next was hard to watch and showed that officers pressed Tony to the ground for 13 long minutes with a knee to the back, while he was pleading for his life, and the officers mocking and making fun of him.

The officers involved were Sgt. Mansell and Officers Vasquez and Dillard.

Criminal charges for all three officers were dropped in March of 2019 and they have since returned to active duty.

What We Don't Know

The Dallas Morning News ran a series of news articles about this shocking incident which was eventually picked up but given minimal exposure by other news agencies. Incidentally this also happened during an election year, the last presidential elections to be exact.

Was it some sort of deja vu or a weird coincidence? Question is, where was the outrage then?

And where was the outrage after the video footage was released? Where was the outrage after the charges were dropped?

And more importantly, why isn't there anyone talking about this incident at this time?

Are news agencies colorblind to the crimes being done by Whites on Whites or even Blacks on Blacks?

I Have A Dream, 2020

The late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's most famous quote:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

-- one that he made almost 60 years ago. Was spoken at a time that was different than ours today.

This photo is the last official portrait of the entire King family. From left, Dexter King, Yolanda King, MLK Jr., Bernice King, Coretta Scott King & Martin Luther King III. Taken in the study of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta, 1966. (AP/Atlanta Journal-Constitution file photo)

Then And Now

This is among the last photos of the four children of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. together. From left, Dexter King, Rev. Bernice King, Yolanda King (died in 2007) & Martin Luther King III. Taken in Atlanta, Georgia, 2006.

Different But Not That Different

The 1960s is now different from 2020, but not to the extent that MLK have dreamed about.

There are still a lot of ground to cover to realize his dream. But it is also not hard to see that today, our society sometimes and with good intentions, have bent over backwards, and have favorably put emphasis on people by the color of their skin instead of their character.

Now this is not bad, but doing so is not what MLK was referring to in his often quoted or misquoted quote. People shouldn't be afforded benefits because of their color. But rather people should, despite of it.

The Race Still To Be Run

The unfortunate reality even today is that believe it or not, people aren't color blind. Even blind people who can hear, can "see" color by listening to people's accents and knowing their names.

We all can see color first, because it is external. We see it before we can see character, because it is internal and takes a little while to get to see.

The biased person is the one who does not take the time to get to see it. And only act on what they first see (white, black, brown, red, yellow).

Nonetheless giving in merely because of the color of one's skin or trying to rectify the sins of people long dead is not what MLK would have wanted. Especially for us, moving forward.

Psychology 101

People will pre-judge others because of human psychology and how they are brought up. This is where we need help with.

And enough with saying that we don't see color. We all do. We see Asian. We see Native American. We see Jew. We see Arab. We see Hispanic. We see Black. And we see White. And regardless of what color we are.

We even see size, shape, smell, age, gender, religion, politics, clothes, car and house or the lack of it.

And then we act differently depending on what we see.

Enough with the hypocrisy.

Only by taking the time to sit down, communicate, understand and reason together can we see beyond color and everthing else, and then know each other's character or where they're coming from.

I Have A Dream, 2020

The dream for right now should be that which Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. have also mentioned in his famous 1963 speech.

"There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, “When will you be satisfied?” We can never be satisfied as long as (a Black person) is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality....

No, no, we are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream....

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'"

And yes all men, regardless of color, gender and creed.

And justice for right now and not that from the ghosts of long past. Otherwise every tribe, every nation will continue to dig up sins committed by long dead people we have nothing to do with and the people of today will not be able to move forward.
